Dear MGWA Members,

It saddens me to inform you of the passing of former MGWA President Ed Ingles.  Ed was a legend in sports reporting:  He was Sports Director at WCBS radio for over 20 years, and was the broadcaster for the NY Jets, St. John's University and Iona College basketball.  He also covered golf, tennis, horse and auto racing and the Olympics.  His love of golf brought him to the MGWA, where he served on our Board for many years.  This short tribute by former MGWA President Bruce Beck is a perfect way to remember Ed:  https://youtu.be/5gylGkaXU8I

The MGWA will be making a donation in Ed's memory to LiveOn NY.  Ed is survived by his wife, Margaret, and his daughter, Diana.
