Dear MGWA Members,

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dave Anderson – a journalistic giant; a man who defined both elegance and excellence.  Dave’s brilliance as a writer was only exceeded by his graciousness and class.

Some people are nice.  Dave Anderson was both nice and kind.  He was beloved and respected by his family, his colleagues, the people he covered and by his loyal readers.  Dave was simply the best, and we will miss him dearly.

Dave served on the Board of the Metropolitan Golf Writers for many years.  His contributions were immense.  We are grateful for his guidance and support.

I know you join me in sending sincere condolences to the Anderson family.
