Dear MGWA Members,
I hope you and yours are staying well and safe in these difficult times.
Unfortunately, I have the unhappy task of letting you know that the MGWA National Awards Dinner for 2020 has been canceled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The board has unanimously voted to present the awards to the same slate of winners next year, however, and we’ve been in contact with each honoree.
We are already in discussions with the venue about available dates and will let you know as soon as one has been chosen.
While the dinner has been postponed, the MGWA will remain active this year, so please renew your membership if you haven't already. Quite frankly, the scholarship funds and other charities need us more than ever, and your dues are an essential element in our support of them.
